In honor of the Beat the Backlist Challenge, I’m gonna be hosting a readalong for a different book on my to-read list each month. Anyone is free to join me in the readalong and if you end up writing a review for the book on your blog, I’ll link back to it from my own blog for you guys. (S/N: You don’t have to be participating in the Beat the Backlist Challenge to join, all you gotta do is read the book. You can even be rereading it if you want!)

For the month of February we’re going to be reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (thank you jilljemmett for commenting/voting and joining me in the first readalong! ❤️). There aren’t very many rules to this, really, other than that you should finish the book by the end of the month (and hopefully review it).

Since there are four weeks in February, the goal will be to read 25% of the book each week. I’ve broken it down to what page in the book you’ll theoretically be on at the end of each week (which all starts today, February 1st). I’ll be posting an update for the readalong every Tuesday where we can discuss the book.

February 1st: Beginning the book.
February 8th: Page 104
February 15th: Page 208
February 22nd: Page 312
February 28th: Finish line!
March 7th: Last day to post a review that is eligible to be featured here.

I’ve got high hopes that this’ll be a lot of fun and hopefully it’ll be something I can continue each month. If you review the book by March 7th, please make sure to let me know so I can feature it here! Remember all posts and information will also be located on the Read With Me! [Monthly] page at the top. Happy reading, everyone!

  1. Oh my gosh A Court of Thorns and Roses is my favourite book series and I’m so excited that you’re doing this readalong! Be prepared… you will want to dive straight into A Court of Mist and Fury right away! I hope you love them too 🙂

    1. That’s so good to hear! It’s been on my to-read list literally forever at this point and I’m so mad at myself that I haven’t picked it up already, lol.
