Today is March 1st and the official start of the March Readalong. This month we will be reading Everless by Sara Holland. I’d like to start this month’s readalong by thanking Sahi @ My World of Books for voting. Ultimately I flipped a coin, since you mentioned two books and Everless is the one that won out on that toss. I’m glad to see a someone new participating!

The March breakdown is similar to the February one. There will be a timeline for when you should be getting to a certain portion of the book, based in a four week percentage. I will be updating my read once a week, on Tuesdays, though for this month the official day to meet the percentages is Thursday. And don’t worry if you don’t meet them because there are no expectations for you to finish on time, or at all. The only rule is that you should at least have read some of the book and had fun!

Ideally anyone participating should finish the book by the end of the month and write a review. Anyone who does write a review will have their review and blog featured on Reader Fox’s Box of Books. The review does not have to be positive or negative. It doesn’t have to be long. If you post anything with at least two paragraphs that include your thoughts on the books, it counts. Reviews help both readers and authors and I really want to foster a habit of reviewing books and therefore will celeberate when it is done.

At the end of the month I will be hosting a giveaway for a copy of either the book we read that month, or the book we will be reading next month. This is a work in progress and I have only hosted one readalong thus far and therefore I am still learning. While the giveaway this time has recently begun, I will start this Month’s giveaway a week before the month ends in order to try and ensure that the winner might have the copy around the time that the new readalong begins.

And now for the timeline.

March 1st: Begin the book.
March 8th: 25% or page 92
March 15th: 50% or page 184
March 22: 75% or page 276
March 29: Finish line!
April 6th: This is the last day to submit a review for the book that I will feature on this blog.

This leaves a little bit of extra time at the end just in case you don’t finish on time. I was late reaching a milestone once last month, so really don’t feel bad if you aren’t following the timeline. It’s just a tool to use if you choose to.
