It’s been quite some time since I read this book, but it marks a rather special moment for me in my time with ARCs. I picked up Windrunner’s Daughter just around the time that I first began this blog and it stands as the first Netgalley book I received that I genuinely really enjoyed. In this respect, Bryony Pearce’s beautiful work is one I hold very dear to my heart.
Windrunner’s Daughter tells the tale of a young woman in a colony on Mars who risks everything to save her mother’s life. In a place where women are not permitted to use the messenger wings to fly across the planet, Wren races to find her father, brothers, and the medicine that will help her mom. This story is truly a wonderfully well-written tale that I would love to share with everyone.
