Happy Thursday everyone!!

ijyI hope your days have gone well. I’m continuing my late posting trend since my lunch hour got changed for this week and just popping in to post a quick throwback to a book I read two Christmases ago. I found this little gem at an airport, I believe in Seattle, after my connecting flight had been canceled and I was forced to wait for about five hours to take the flight I’d been switched to. And honestly, I am so glad that I did. I don’t usually buy books from airports, ironically enough, as I’ve typically got three or four with me already, but I was bored and it looked interesting so I went ahead and bought it.

Luvvie Ajayi began as a blogger, eventually gaining a large enough following that I guess it just made sense to write a book. I’m Judging You: The Do Better Manual is a fantastic piece of writing that addresses a number of social issues in an amusing and easy to understand manner. Frankly, this is one of those books that I think should be pretty widely read and is the sort of book I would want a teenager to read to get them started on understanding the very issues Ajayi brings up. I gave it to my brother who was thirteen at the time partially because I want him to have a thorough understanding and partially because I don’t think my parents have really done an adequate job of introducing him to these issues.

So, definitely feel free to check out my review for this book and further from that check it out on Goodreads. It’s worth reading.
