Ever since I first saw them, I knew I really wanted one. Of course, I haven’t actually bought one, more because I don’t have the money than anything else. But they’re pretty amazing. My first experience with painted books came from Tinted Prose who sells custom order painted books on Etsy.

They’re all exceptionally cool and so naturally since I couldn’t bring myself to buy one, I thought I’d make my own attempt at a painted book. So, I ordered some watercolor paint pens with a gift card a little while ago and finally spent today working on an old book that I’d be okay with the possibility that I’d mess up.

I think it turned out really good considering this was my first ever attempt. I haven’t quite decided what to do with it yet, but I wanted to share it at least since I’m actually quite proud.
