So, as I’m sure many of you know if you’ve been following my blog lately, I’ve been traveling this weekend. A friend of mine from high school is getting married and as such I’ve not had a whole lot of time to post. This blogger support feature is an tiny bit late, so I’m going to do my best to boost it a bit more later on but I wanted to make sure that I kept up with this and today’s random blogger gets a shoutout.
Jessica @ Endless Chapters rocks the book blogging world. I loved the whole set up of her blog and especially the cover photo at the top, which I think frankly really opens up a lot of people to really seeing into the mind of the book blogger who runs it. Her reviews almost always leave a little bit of the book behind as she incorprates several quotes throughout. Admittedly, this can look somewhat weirdly formatted when viewing the blog via phone, but it’s still a wonderful feature.
And one thing that I’ve realized now that I’m featuring bloggers regularly is that it is such a major benefit to your blog if you have a page that lists all the reviews you’ve written. Not only does it help me pick a review to feature (I try not to do more recent ones since those are going to be seen by any new followers and older ones are more likely to be lost in the ether), but it also opens up the opportunity for anyone who happens across your blog to see your opinions on books that they might share in common with you.
And that’s a big thing, in my mind, since it really means that you’re going to have a stronger opportunity for connection.
Today, I’ve decided to feature Jessica’s review for the book The Distance Between Me and the Cherry Tree. My big reason for this is because, whoa, that title is so catchy. It immediately grabbed my attention when browsing through her reviews. And it’s an all around glowing review of a book that sounds truly fascinating and important. I’m always looking for books that are going to make me so emotional and after reading this review, I have high hopes for it.
“When I started reading this book, I wasn’t sure whether I was going to like it. But as the story went by, I found myself falling in love with…”
So, hop on over to Jessica’s blog and have a look at some of her reviews! Show her some support! And if you’re interested in being featured on my blog at any point, feel free to comment with a link to your blog down below and maybe your twitter handle so I can @ you there as well. I wanna keep this support going!
Happy reading, everyone!
Thank you so so much for taking your time and read my reviews. IT MEANS A LOT.
