The weekend is almost over, but before it officially comes to an end I wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful Anna @ The Bursting Bookshelf! I’m always excited when I stumble across a blog that explicitly states it reviews YA because that happens to be my absolute favorite kind of book. That being said, I definitely wanted to feature a review for a book that I likely never would have picked up without this blogger’s input.

I really appreciated Anna’s review for The Hating Game for addressing not only the obviously wonderful and fun pieces of the book, but also for calling attention to the slightly problematic parts she saw. It’s always important, even if you like a book for the most part, to point out the sections that aren’t so great, especially in terms of the treatment of characters as it relates to actual people.

The Bursting Bookshelf is definitely a blog worth following.
