the one apartThe one thing that I remember most about The One Apart by Justine Avery is how utterly exhausting it felt to read it. And when I say exhausting, I do mean that in a good way though I can imagine that the feeling might not be one that everyone wants. It’s a book that really makes you think and can definitely result in quite a bit of confusion. I gave it to my mom to read some time ago and unfortunately she just wasn’t able to get through it, so this definitely isn’t the sort of book for the faint of heart.

While I didn’t love everything about it, I definitely appreciated the uniqueness of it all. This is a one of a kind story that you aren’t likely to see elsewhere. And if you can get past the brief moments of confusion, it’s well worth the read. So feel free to check out my review if you’re interested but not sure and then possibly add it to your TBR!

As always, happy reading to you all!
