I feel as though I don’t fully understand just exactly what The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi is really about, but honestly, that just makes me all the more interested in finding out. From secret societies to heist groups to treasure hunting to unveiling truths about the past of one’s parents, this book really does seem to have it all. And on top of that, it definitely gives off a somewhat steampunk feel which is really just an aspect of novels that I find I cannot resist. Plus, the cover is a brilliant green with gold and silver trim which caught my eye the very instant that I first saw it. What I can’t figure out is whether or not this novel will spill over into some form of magic.

Ultimately, The Gilded Wolves has definitely found a spot on my TBR. I don’t know what sounds best about it: the enticing adventure or the cast of characters who are sure to be an absolute blast to read. I can only hope that this book ends up being as fantastic as it sounds.
