Amanda @ The Lexington Bookie began her blog three years ago now, having not had any prior success with the ones she had started before. It’s wonderful to see how successful her current blog is, something you can actually check out if you visit her about me page because she lists quite a few of her statistics and they’re really exciting to see. While she spends a lot of time working with horses, she still finds time to read some amazing novels and get reviews written.

For Amanda, there were a few book reviews she’d written that I thought would be fun to feature, but I ultimately decided upon The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee, a novel I’ve been meaning to get to but haven’t quite found the time for.
