Bookish F; Alphabet Challenge

And here’s to the letter F; this Monday I’ve got a set of books beginning with F, beginning with one of my most favorite–The Lunar Chroincles, are you surprised–to a one star novel that I honestly curse for existing. I am really looking forward to reading Furyborn by Claire Legrand. It’s been a while since I read one of her books and I’ve heard really good things about this one so I definitely have my fingers crossed.

I’m pretty much in love with anything to do with Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles and I’ve always really liked John Green’s work, for the most part. I have a love/hate relationship with James Patterson’s Maximum Ride series largely because I liked the premise but hated the execution. And I’ve never quite forgiven him for it, which I’m sure some of you might have noticed in the past. Falling For Wonderboy was just a rather mediocre novel and nothing could ever redeem the trash that is Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m sorry, but I don’t forgive novels that romanticize abuse. Ever.
