And, though it’s taken some time I have finally gotten through all of the YA releases published in June of 2018! There’s only two books on this list, but they both do seem phenomenal so take some time to check them out and let me know what you think!

dawn of legendsDawn of Legends by Eleanor Herman is the fourth and final novel in the Blood of Gods and Royals series. And while I only skimmed the blurb summarizing the novel as I wanted to avoid spoilers, it sounds pretty amazing. This is yet another case of a book that ends up on my TBR as a result of being a sequel to a book that I’ve already determined I want to read at some point in the future. Legacy of Kings, the first book in this series which also includes a few novellas that I’d like to read, has been on my TBR for quite some time and sounds like a thoroughly fascinating story. It’s been compared to Game of Thrones and the Outlander series thus far and while I can’t speak to the level of which it matches up, I can say I’m rather excited to get my hands on this series in the future.

the museum of usI am incredibly intrigued by The Museum of Us by Tara Wilson Redd and how it handles the subject of mental illness which, according to the reviews I’ve read thus far seems to have gone well. I can’t help feeling thoroughly curious about this idea of an imaginary friend and how much of an impact that one has on a person’s life and health. The plot of this novel follows a young woman whose secret about her imaginary friend and their importance in her life is suddenly at risk of being revealed and I honestly cannot wait to have a copy of this book in my hands. It looks to be a well thought out, considerate, and fascinating story and I cannot wait to see how it goes.

And that is all for the month of June in 2018! I’ve decided to hold off on beginning the books of July until next week rather than beginning the list here. What did you think of these two books? Will you pass them up or add them to your TBR? Let me know in the comments!
