evermoreThis is almost a reminder to me that I still need to write my review for Everless, which I had genuinely believed I’d written but apparently didn’t since I can’t seem to find it anywhere. But it’s also a throwback to the fact that this book was way better than the first in the series. I don’t know what changed for the author from book one to book two, but book one seriously paled in comparison to book two. Honestly, I hated the first book. And had it not been for the fact that I was approved for an e-galley of this novel, I never would have bothered to read it. Well, I’m glad that I did.

Evermore picked up where Everless left off, and I’ll be honest about the fact that it got off to a slow start. But all the twists and turns of the ultimate story line, the reincarnation and the past lives, made it well worth reading. There were still some small issues with the novel, of course, because you can’t remove the terrible first book by writing a brilliant second one, but overall I did enjoy this read.

So, if this is a book you think you’d be interested (or if you’ve already read it and are just curious) feel free to check out my review. If you’ve not read it, then drop by Goodreads to check it out. Definitely let me know what you thought of the book in the comments!
