Today’s NetGalley requests are all heavily influenced by the covers, both of which were so eye-catchingly magnificent that there was really little chance at all of me not requesting them. They’re both middle grade novels, both featuring powerful female characters, and I cannot wait to read them. Granted, I still have to wait for an approval for the first one…but if any of you are interested in reading chapter samplers, the second one is a Read Now.

A middle grade novel inspired by Chinese mythology, The Dragon Warrior is such an amazing-sounding story. And honestly, how could I pass up the chance?

I just love chapter samplers? And I’ve been meaning to pick up a Serafina book for a while now since they have the most gorgeous of covers. It’s about time I checked it out, really.
