I was pretty impressed, overall, with Haphaven by Norm Harper and Louie Joyce. A graphic novel centered around the idea of luck–be it good or bad–and the world in which it exists wholly to balance out ours, Haphaven was a monumentally fascinating story. I had so much fun reading it and really that’s one of the best things you can ever get from a story. I don’t know if there was a grand message in this book, perse, and the villain was massively easy for me to pick out at the end of the day but I know that I’d have a blast reading this to any kid I might have in the future.
It’s been a while since I read this book, so if you’re looking to have a bit more of an in-depth description of the book or my opinions of it, I’ve included a link to my review and the Goodreads page for you all to check out. I promise this one is a book that’s worth it. As always, happy reading to you all!
