Not to compare these two books, but also to slightly compare: I’m curious to see how they both handle the topics. Frankly, I find these books incredibly important not only to those who are going through these situations (e.g. growing up, learning about their bodies and their identities, etc.) but also to those who aren’t. We can never be educated enough and I’m always looking for more material to read that will further my understanding of these topics. It’s important in a changing world, a developing world, and it’s immensely important for anyone who wants to be a decent person. Especially if you plan to have children one day.

An educational book about health (mental and physical) for people who are trans.

wait, what?
A graphic novel that addresses health and growing up (gender and sexual identity included).

Do either of these NetGalley books tempt you to request? Let me know in the comments!
