just for clicksGosh, I feel like it was forever ago that I read Just for Clicks by Kara McDowell. And honestly, it was a pretty decent book. I can’t recall off the top of my head what rating I gave it, but I definitely didn’t hate this read or anything. Now, I’m not in love with it and this is not the sort of book that I would go out of my way to buy myself a copy of. As you all know, contemporaries are not the novels I enjoy the most.

That said, this story had just the right amount of intriguing and mystery for me to not feel thoroughly bored the entire time I read it. A story about two girls who’ve risen to fame as a result of their mother’s mommy blogging, one who loves the limelight and one who doesn’t, Just for Clicks spins their lives out of control when a family secret is uncovered.

It’s not a thriller novel, though I know most books with “uncovered family secrets” tend to be. I appreciated that about this one, to tell you the truth. Anyway, if you’re curious to see my review, feel free to check it out. As always, here’s the Goodreads page if you feel like this might be one you want to read!
