I’m kind of disappointed that I didn’t get to read this one, mainly because it’s not a book that I really see myself going out of my way to get elsewhere. I mean, sure, if I happen upon it in a book store I might read it there…but until I have kids of my own I have no intention of really buying a lot of children’s books. Granted, I get them for my nieces every now and then as well as for my boyfriend’s niece and nephew…and a lot of those are books I request from NetGalley to review. But unless I happen upon one, I don’t really pick it up. And it’s sad because this one sounded like such an amazing science-y story.
This is a magical story about the powerful idea that we are connected to absolutely everything in the universe. Everything is connected. And since you are part of everything, you are connected to everything: to pharaohs, Ben Franklin, T. Rex, ancient Greece, to love and to poverty, hunger and peace!
