blazeTher’es honestly not a whole lot going on with the cover of Blaze by Monique Martin. And while I’m usually not a fan of simple covers, this one really got my attention. I’m not sure if it’s just because the cover is green–my favorite color–or if there’s something about the asymmetrical design that really gets my attention, but I just love everything about this one. Even the text, which usually annoys the heck out of me, is excellently placed and managed. I especially love the way the author’s name and the title of the series are set in a circular shape to surround the design in the center. It’s so simple and yet so eye-catching.

I have to admit, I have no idea what this book is about based on its cover. A part of me wants to say it has something to do with time-travel, but at the same time, there’s that line down there at the bottom about fitting something into a corset…
