There have been times when I’ve genuinely wondered if I ever would. After years of checking book events for her name and following her tours endlessly, each time lamenting the fact that I was nowhere close enough to see her, I’ve finally managed to get myself to an event. And it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It was an incredibly long drive, unfortunately filled with so much traffic that we even arrived late.

But we’re here and I’m finally getting the chance to meet an author who has helped me through incredibly rough times, whose books I’ve read more times than any other and I could not be more grateful for this moment.

It’s fitting that this is happening in November.
