my merry christmas journalI guarantee you, I would have just loved My Merry Christmas Journal by Diana Zourelias when I was a kid. It’s pretty typical for what you might find in a Christmas activity book for kids, of course, but that doesn’t take away from how much fun I’m sure a bunch of children are going to have with it. From making words out of larger words, creating exceptionally long lists about Christmas funs and not-funs, to puzzles and games this journal does have quite a lot going for it.

Would I say that it was exceptionally unique? Probably not. After all, they definitely had activity books like this when I was a child and I have fond memories of working through them and filling them out. But I feel like there will always be a want and a call for books like this to be out there in the world. I hope the children who happen upon this one enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the ones I got a chance to play around with when I was six years old.

I was provided a free copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
