Elysium Girls [Kate Pentecost]; 2020 YA Releases

Elysium Girls by Kate Pentecost has a thoroughly interesting plot. I find the dust-bowl aspect quite intriguing, though I’m not sure how much it endears me to the idea of actually reading the novel. I’m a little thrown by how demons and witches come into play here, as well. Regardless, I can admit that above everything else, this book as a gorgeous cover and is well worth showing off on your shelf.

In order to atone for their mistake, they create a cavalry of magic powered, scrap metal horses to save Elysium from the coming apocalypse. But Sal, Asa, and Olivia must do more than simply tip the scales in Elysium's favor-only by reinventing the rules can they beat the Life and Death at their own game.
