I’ll be honest, this book’s synopsis makes it sound all kinds of all over the place. Fortunately, that doesn’t exactly sound bad but rather just a bit confusing. My hope with this particular novel is that the all over the place aspect doesn’t end up turning into something where the author had too many ideas and not really the wherewithal to fit it all together naturally. It’s kind of the moment where there’s too much but you weren’t willing to let go of anything despite knowing it needed to happen.

That said, I don’t think that’s the case with this book? Also, it’s got a gorgeous cover.
