I got a book in the mail recently—and it’s an arc so I don’t know if I really can complain all that much, free book and all—but this is the condition that it came in. There is very little more frustrating than damage done to a brand new book whilst in the mail. Honestly, when I pulled it out of the package, I kind of wanted to cry. And I know this is a common thing to happen with the mailing system. I’ve seen it all over the place in the past. I was fortunate enough to have escaped it on my end, for the most part, but it was bound to happen eventually. It’s just kindness of devastating to see.
Though what happened to this book truly does break my heart, I am really excited to start reading this book today. I don’t know about any of you, but I really can’t wait to find out what happens next for Caledonia and Pisces!

I’m sorry that happened to you! At least the pages are in tact, and I hope you enjoy.
