35053301Well, two seconds into the synopsis and I’m already in love with Stolen Time by Danielle Rollins. I’m pretty sure that I’m just a massive sucker for any story that involves time travel, and for some reason I can’t seem to help it. There’s just something about the mixing of people from different time periods that really fascinates me. And, really, the possibility of having someone you could fall in love with from a different time is just one I’ve always loved, especially in the sense that it gets into potential soul mates and all that. Which, in retrospect, is something I don’t believe in and find ridiculous but I still can’t help falling in love with it every time I come across it in a novel.

I have no way of knowing for sure if that idea is in this novel, but what I do know is that this story features a girl forced into an engagement she does not want who, upon unsuspectingly finding the aircraft of a time traveler searching for his mentor, steals away on his ship to escape her fate. But leaving one’s own time can have dire consequences on the future and it is this that the characters will ultimately have to face.

I’m sure we all know at this point that Stolen Time is going on my TBR, but what are your thoughts? Is this a book you’ll be adding? Do you not want to read it? Let me know in the comments!
