two can keep a secretI feel like there’s a lot of hype surrounding McManus and her books and, for me, Two Can Keep a Secret is no different. I think, almost on hype and look alone I’m curious about this book. Ironically enough I don’t typically read mystery books, but everyone has said that McManus writes amazing stories and so I’m curious to see how this one goes. Of course, I still need to read her other book before reading this one so there’s no telling, really, about when I’ll get to this one in particular. Still, I think there is a lot of potential for this book to be fantastic which is ultimately why it’s on my TBR despite the fact that I generally avoid mystery focused books.

A book surrounding the disappearance of a teenage girl in a town where there has already been a world class scandal surrounding the murder of a young Homecoming Queen. And one of our main characters’ brother is the main suspect. So there’s definitely an interesting dynamic within the pages of the book. I’m looking forward to finding out where this plot is going to go.

Is this book on your TBR? Are you a McManus fan? Do you find yourself not all that interested in mysteries? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Great post!

I bought One of Us is Lying a few months back and still haven’t read it yet. I didn’t realize it was going to be a series. Definitely hoping to read both in 2019. They both sound like really good mystery thrillers.
