And the week is almost over again, I find myself eager for the end of it for once. I think I’ve just been tired lately, which makes sense because I’ve been doing a lot. And with all of that, I’m just ready for a bit of a break. Not sure if that’ll happen, though, considering how much work comes with having a puppy.
Anyway, it’s Thursday and so naturally that means it’s time for a throwback post with everything from the past week. And, amazingly, I’ve managed quite a number of posts which in truth is quite a shock to me considering how busy I’ve been of late. But I’ve recently perfected a way to get posts in while still spending time with my puppy. There’s definitely a learning curve to it.
Last weeks reviews totaled eight and I happened to have finished one of the best books I’ve ever read and am sure to be raving about it for months to come. I’m even thinking of doing a giveaway for it as I really want to share this novel with other people. Now this first review was written sometime in the middle of the week, but I love the book so much I felt it necessary to highlight it first.
If you’ve not heard of The Enchanted Sonata yet, I highly suggest you check it out!
The Enchanted Sonata [Heather Dixon Wallwork]
The Peace Dragon [Linda Ragsdale]
The Origin of Day and Night [Paula Ikuutaq Rumbolt]
The Invisible Garden [Valerie Picard]
Voting With a Porpoise [Sean Callahan and Russell Glass]
Rip All the Pages! [Karen Benke]
Finding Gobi (The Young Reader’s Edition) [Dion Leonard]
I unfortunately ran into the unfortunate circumstance of not having much time over the weekend and resultingly ended up only featuring one review from another blogger, but hopefully I’ll be able to make up for that this upcoming weekend. Last week’s feature was for Ezzie’s Bookshelf!
The latest YA Releases on My TBR was posted yesterday, so definitely pop on over to view that if you haven’t. It features five books published in March of this year that I’ve added to my to-read list.
Last week’s cover love Friday was for Tainted by Morgan L. Busse.
And for Top Ten Tuesday I featured Ten Creepy Books to Read in October!
Christopher Paolini is writing again and his new book, The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm is coming out in December!
And just a few miscellaneous posts from the week, two raving about The Enchanted Sonata and another detailing a reread of Twilight that I’m doing so I can pinpoint all the problematic pieces to it.
Are You a Fan of The Nutcracker?
Those TBR Books You Might Not Read
