It has been a rough time in California lately with the wildfires going on, leaving me subjected to breathing in smoke quite a lot, which frankly makes me feel exceedingly anxious, especially for the puppy. It’s one of those things that I just didn’t really plan for and every time I take him out it makes me feel awful to know he’s breathing in the same unhealthy air as I am.

Aside from that, it’s been a pretty good week so far. I had Veteran’s Day off from work, which left me with a nice three-day weekend and I’ve managed to get quite a bit of reading done as well. Reviews are still a little bit lower in count than they were a few weeks ago but it’s not like my level of business has really changed all that much, so it’s to be expected.

As always, yesterday was time for another “episode” of YA Releases on my TBR and you should definitely check it out if you’re interested in YA books published in 2018.

Last week’s cover love Friday was for Song for a Whale [Lynne Kelly], an absolutely gorgeous cover that you should definitely give a look.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday was a bit small for me, featuring bookish items that I want and as I’m not really all that big on buying or owning more useless objects than I already have.

Monday’s book tag was quite a bit of fun, featuring Disney Villains, even though they didn’t always exactly make sense.

A thoroughly exciting moment for me was this Tuesday when Tigerlilja (a New Tales of The Wendy Book!) was released, so definitely check that out if you’re even the least bit interested in amazing Peter Pan retellings. I’ve already started it and I can tell you, unquestionably, that it’s pretty amazing thus far.

The newest update for my Twilight Reread; The Ending and New Moon is available as well! The reread definitely opened my eyes to a lot of things, depressingly enough.
